Hello! I’m Aishwarya Telkar. Professionally I am a full-time petroleum engineer , but a traveler at heart. I am here to help you plan trips to hidden gems and offer sustainable travel tips.

I am a citizen of the most populated country in the world. I travel whenever I get holidays, and it’s clear that I wouldn’t want to see hordes of crowds at my travel destinations either.

Crowds near every famous landmark overwhelm me. I love blank, empty landscapes.

Now, some of you judgmental readers might think I don’t like the Taj Mahal.

Our beloved Taj is that landmark of India that forces people to say,

“If you haven’t seen the Taj Mahal in India, then what have you seen?”

This line is self-sufficient in capturing the iconic status of the Taj Mahal.

Don’t get me wrong! I appreciate the Taj Mahal as much as the next person, but fighting through a sea of tourists? Definitely a big no for me.

How did I developed interest in travelling to remote offbeat places?

However as a child, I didn’t have any resources for travelling. Even I didn’t had opportunity to stay in hostel during my college times to taste the travel freedom. Back in 2018, when I left hometown for work, I stepped into living alone & thus started my travel journey. After that there was no turning back .

From the last six years, I am juggling my professional career & squeezing travel plans into my holidays. Using weekends & holidays to the fullest I have travelled to numerous crowd-free destinations that provide me with peace & unique experiences.

How did I Developed Interest in Writing a Blog on “Uncrowded Travel”

Friends & Acquaintances often sought my advice on quieter travel & offbeat locations. Their positive feedback and encouragement made me realize I had a knack for exploring remote destinations that many people might not be well aware off.

Writing has always been a creative outlet for me. In school days too, I was that boring student in class who was always despised by many fellow students for taking loads & loads of supplements to attach main answersheet during examinations😆.

I wanted to combine my love for writing and travel & what’s a more better way than writing a travel blog.
I realized there was a growing community of travelers seeking tranquil and uncrowded experiences. Catering to this audience allowed me to share my insights with like-minded people, further fueling my passion for writing on the topic.

Journey and Struggles in Building My Travel Website

My interests apart from Travelling:

Apart from Travelling, I am addicted to reading & books are absolutely my best friends❤️. I just love reading some good suspense thriller fictional novels.

Also I am a big lover of History & Mythology. In reality, History & Mythology are like complete opposite to each other but both of them have managed to steal my heart. History & Mythology always fascinated me since childhood & when I read abundant historical & mythological books. Whenever I go to any place I try to find out it’s historical & mythological connection.

I am also fond of cooking. I am nurturing this love for cooking from past 15 years. Apart from cooking Maharashtrian food, I absolutely love to learn lost recipes of various remote places.

Photography is also my love. I like to capture moments whenever I am travelling.
